Become the Speaker and Leader you want to be

Come in and meet our members face to face at 7pm on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at St. David’s Parish Hall, 69 Chelmer Street East, Chelmer 4068.

At Chelmer Speakers, our members understand that effective communication is a powerful tool and essential for personal satisfaction and for professional success in today’s world. Our great Chelmer Speakers team is keen to accompany you in your efforts to improve your speaking and presentation skills.

speakers iconCommunication is also a vital tool in binding local communities. Since its first demonstration meeting in May 2012, Chelmer Speakers has provided a focal point for people in the local and wider communities to develop their communication and leadership skills.

Chelmer Speakers meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Our meeting starts at 7.00pm, however many members and guests arrive at 6.30 to enjoy a drink together before the meeting. We focus on building a community and getting to know each other in order to increase the confidence level of our participants.

Like any skill set, public speaking is made up of many parts – all of which need to be regularly practiced and polished to keep your skills in top shape. Toastmasters focus on: better listening, better thinking and better speaking. Whether you are already a practiced speaker or you are just starting out, we can offer you important opportunities.
